Our tea is produced using premium ingredients from around the world to create truly unique flavours and healing properties.
As a naturopath and herbalist, I have an implicit interest in holistic health. I have always been an avid tea drinker. It's a habit inspired by indigenous communities and cultures all over the world who have long appreciated the remedial qualities of tea and herbs. Prompted by the healing properties of herbs, and keen to turn a cultural tradition into modern-day practice, I founded the Byron Bay Tea Company in 2004.
Inspired by Byron Bay's indigenous heritage as a healing ground- we acknowledge the people of the Bundjalung nation, including those from the Arakwal, Widjabul, Bandjalang and Nyangbal Tribes whose land we operate on and from. We acknowledge these people as the traditional custodians of this land. We acknowledge that they have occupied and cared for this country over countless generations and we celebrate their continuing contribution to the life and culture of this region. We pay our respects to their elders- past, present and emerging.

"Hello! I am LOVING your Immunity Tea which I tasted following a beautiful massage at Bodhi J in Wembley (Perth). It was great they had a box that I could purchase. I haven’t had a blend so yummy that is full of such goodness (including echinacea) and tastes delicious. What a great product! Congratulations."
"Great customer service and super speedy delivery. LOVE your bags!! Thank you!"
"Dear BBTC- Congratulations on a superior tasting tea, a pure delight to drink. I have been enjoying leaf tea at Byron @ Byron for some time, I asked them what tea it was and they said BBTC. I am delighted I can buy such a wonderful tea from my local area. I have been drinking an alternate brand for decades, but I feel it is time for a change"

“Dear Byron Bay Tea Company - I have to confess that for fear I was becoming overly fussy, I bought a box of Twinings Earl Grey from my local IGA. I tried to like it, I really did try. But it just wasn’t worth wasting our beautiful Mt Tamborine water with it. This morning I had a pot of Byron Bay Tea Company Earl Grey (ordered and received in a flash) and will never doubt my taste buds again. Thank you for a refreshing pot of really fine tea. So glad to have you in our Mt Warning neighbourhood. Kindest thoughts to all responsible for your tea.”
