1. Don’t forget to eat! If your appetite is low, try smoothies and juices.
2. Incorporate exercise or movement into your day. This can be a great way to channel energy if you are experiencing anxiety.
3. Avoid Stimulants such as caffeine and sugar. These substances have a wake-up and stimulating effect on the nervous system not needed at a time of stress as they could contribute to anxiety and interfere with sleep.
4. Sip on Calming tea before bed (not alcohol) to help you get a restful sleep at night. The key herb here is Passionflower which has a strong anti-anxiety action.
5. Take a good quality B complex vitamin supplement and Magnesium to nourish the nervous system and support energy levels.
6. Enjoy a bath (if you have access to one!) for relaxation and use 1kg of Epsom salts to help relax the muscles and soothe the nervous system.
7. Use Rescue Remedy which contains a unique blend of 5 Original Bach Flower Remedies to provide gentle everyday stress and sleep support.
8. Practise mindfulness whether that be through deep breathing exercises, yoga, meditation or making a cup of tea. These are all activities that can help you stay in the present moment.
9. Seek Support from those around you and/or a professional if you need to.
10. Immerse yourself in Nature to stay grounded and help manage high anxiety levels.
I hope that the above health tips help in some small way!
